A WELCOMING ENTRANCE

Choosing a toran for your main door

Find a bandarwal that suits your doorway, your décor and the way you celebrate. Start with the measurements, then choose the details you love.

01

Check the width and tassel length

Measure the space between your intended hanging points. Compare it with the product’s listed width, then check the full hanging height, including tassels where stated. Leave enough clearance for the door to open freely.

Our Royal Blue Elephant Toran lists a 42″ × 5″ size, while the Ganeshji Blue Jhalar Toran lists 41″ × 11″ with tassels. Compare both profiles before choosing.

02

Choose a design for your occasion

For Diwali door decoration, consider colours that work with your lights and flowers. For puja or a housewarming entrance, choose a motif that suits your space and personal preference.

Explore the Ganeshji Elephant & Bird Toran for devotional detailing or the Parrot & Red Lotus Toran for a floral and bird design.

03

Hang gently and store with care

Check the hanging loops and product weight before selecting suitable hooks for your surface. Support both ends evenly and arrange ornaments gently. Keep the toran clear of door movement, rain and open flames.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soaking or pulling delicate embellishments. Let the toran dry fully before storing it flat in a clean bag; use its zipper bag if supplied, keeping tassels untangled.

Before you choose your bandarwal

Are toran and bandarwal different?

Both names are commonly used for decorative hangings placed above a doorway. Compare the actual design, dimensions and photos rather than relying on the name alone.

Can I leave my toran outside?

A covered entrance helps protect delicate decorative details. Avoid direct rain, moisture and prolonged harsh sunlight, and follow any care instructions supplied with your product.

Where can I check delivery and return information?

Read our shipping and delivery policy and returns, refunds and cancellation policy before ordering. Eligible return requests must be raised within 5 days of delivery and require product and shipping-label photos for review.
